Replacement parts should have the same characteristics as those provided by the original fire extinguisher manufacturer.
For gas cylinders (cylinders) that have passed the hydraulic pressure test, if part of the external coating is peeled off but there is no rust, additional coating is allowed. The additional coating should be smooth, flat, consistent in color, and free of bubbles, flow marks, Wrinkles and other defects. Additional coating should not cover the nameplate.
During each maintenance, the following parts should be replaced: sealing parts such as sealing sheets, rings, and pads; water-based fire extinguishing agents; and overpressure safety diaphragms of carbon dioxide fire extinguishers.
The maintenance organization should replace components according to the fire extinguisher assembly drawings and replaceable parts list of the original fire extinguisher manufacturer. The fire extinguisher cylinder (cylinder) cannot be replaced.
The hydraulic test should be carried out according to the hydraulic test pressure specified on the nameplate mark of the fire extinguisher. There should be no leakage, component falling off, rupture and visible macro deformation during the hydraulic test. The residual deformation rate of carbon dioxide fire extinguisher cylinders should not be greater than 3%.
