Installation and Usage Instructions

 

Installation steps

  1. Check that all components of the valve are in good condition and that the threads are undamaged.
  2. Wrap a PTFE tape around the threaded part (3 to 5 turns)
  3. Use a special wrench to screw the valve into the cylinder of the fire extinguisher (PZ27.8 thread)
  4. Install the immersion tube and tighten the M10×1 threaded connection
  5. Connect the NPT3/8 outlet pipeline (it is recommended to use pipe thread sealant)
  6. Carry out a 25 MPa pressure test, maintaining the pressure for 3 minutes without any leakage.


Usage Notes

  • Regularly check the flexibility of valve operation (once every quarter)
  • Carry out sealing performance tests every year
  • Keep your hands dry during operation and avoid slippage.
  • When releasing the fire extinguishing agent, stand in the upwind position.
