The fire detector is wrapped by the dust cover and cannot alarm normally. Because most fire detectors are smoke detectors. That is, no alarm will be issued until smoke is detected. Once the smoke is encased in the dust cover, it cannot enter the fire detector, so the smoke cannot be detected and the alarm will not be activated.

Under normal circumstances, fire detectors are strictly prohibited from being covered with capsules to avoid reducing sensitivity or causing malfunction. If the working conditions of the detector are extreme and the smoke concentration in the natural environment is high, it is recommended to purchase and apply a fire detection alarm and a fire safety alarm system for the unique working conditions.

Smoke detectors will not sound an alarm until the dust cover is removed at the factory. Smoke detectors only trigger an alarm when smoke enters the detector cavity. Many users do not know to remove the dust cover after the smoke detector is put into use, which is very dangerous.
