1. Portable dry powder fire extinguisher use, one is to pull up the griphook, one is to push down, we are now using the pressure type, press down, then there will be dry powder. But should notice, must pull safety pin first, otherwise won't have dry powder eject.

2. The spraying time of portable dry powder extinguisher is very short, so before use, it is necessary to aim the powder hose at the flame before opening the valve. Portable dry powder extinguishers also have a short distance to spray, so operators should be as close to the fire source as possible to ensure their own safety. And according to the burning range to choose the appropriate specifications of the fire extinguisher, if the burning range is large, the fire extinguisher specifications are small, will be wasted.

3. Portable dry powder extinguisher does not need to be used upside down, but if the cylinder is bounced up and down several times before use to loosen the powder, the spraying effect will be better.

4. There is no concentrated jet of dry powder, and it is easy to disperse after spraying, so the operator should stand in the wind direction of the fire source during spraying.

5. The dry powder extinguisher should not spray from the top to the flame, but should fire at the root of the flame, from near to far, push forward, left and right sweep, do not let the flame back.

6. In extinguishing liquid fire, dry powder fire extinguishers have a great impact, do not directly impact the dry powder liquid level, in order to prevent the burning liquid splash, expand the fire.

7. Dry powder extinguishers, under normal conditions, valid for 3-5 years, but in the middle should be checked once a year.

8. Dry powder extinguisher should be placed in a convenient, ventilated, cool and dry place to prevent the cylinder from moisture and dry powder agglomeration. Dry powder extinguishers should not be exposed to high temperatures, should not be exposed to sunlight, and should not be placed at temperatures below -10 degrees Celsius.
