What Is The Principle Of Fire Alarm?

A fire alarm is an electrical appliance whose principle is to use a smoke sensor or a temperature sensor to cooperate with a microelectronic judgment circuit to drive an alarm or an electromagnetic relay to achieve a fire warning or warning effect.

Where are the fire alarms generally installed?

1. The fire alarm should be installed in a well-ventilated place within a radius of 1.5 meters from the gas source. Liquefied gas is heavier than air, and the fire alarm should be installed at a distance of 0.3m from the ground. Natural gas, city gas, carbon monoxide, etc. are lighter than air, and the fire alarm should be installed about 0.3 meters away from the ceiling.

2. The places where the alarm cannot be installed are mainly in the corners, cabinets and other places where the air is not easy to circulate, or the places where it is easy to be directly smoked by oil fume and so on. Places where steam and oil mist may occur, such as kitchens, etc.; places where water mist stays, such as bathrooms, etc.; places with a lot of dust; places where smoke stays under normal conditions.

3. The equipment installation of fire smoke alarm should usually consider the area, height and direction of gas movement in the room. The fire alarm equipment should be installed at the top of the room and should be located in the middle; the horizontal interval to the wall and beam side should not be less than 0.5m and there should be no obstructions within 0.5m around it; to fans, air conditioners, and windows The horizontal interval should not be less than 1.5m, etc.

How are fire alarms used?

1. Power light: green light, on after power on, off when alarming. Alarm light: red light, on when the alarm is on, and off when the alarm is stopped.

2. Turn on the power supply, and the alarm will start to work normally after the green light is on or flashing for 3 minutes.

3. When the detected gas reaches the alarm point, the alarm will start to alarm, the green light will go out, the alarm light will be on, and the buzzer will sound an alarm. When the concentration of the detected gas drops below the alarm point, the alarm will stop.

4. If the manual detection function is added, when the button is pressed, the green light will be off, the alarm light will be on, and the buzzer will sound an alarm.

5. If the function of the connected exhaust fan is added, when the alarm alarms, the connected exhaust fan will start to automatically remove harmful gases.

6. If the function of connecting manipulator or solenoid valve is added, when the alarm alarms, the connected manipulator or solenoid valve will automatically close the gas valve, thereby cutting off the harmful gas source.

7. If the networking function is added, when the alarm alarms, the management center or the control center will receive the normally open and normally closed (NO, NC) signals at the same time.

8. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the fire alarm, regular inspection and protection are required. In general, users should test at least once a month. You can press the "test" button on the fire alarm for testing or use professional smoke-generating equipment for testing. Do not use real fireworks for testing. Because there are usually a lot of combustibles in bedrooms or warehouses, open flames are easy to cause accidental fires. outbreak.
